Once the ancient residence of the noble Gonzaga dynasty, today Volta Mantovana amazes its visitors with what history has left in its custody.

Palazzo Gonzaga , now the seat of the municipality of the Volterra town, enchants with its Renaissance halls and magnificent Italian gardens.

Today, Palazzo Gonzaga is not only a historical monument, but also a vibrant cultural center, hosting events, exhibitions, and initiatives that restore it to the community and its visitors in all its splendor.

Volta Mantovana is located in an excellent position on the morainic hills of Garda, offering its visitors the opportunity to visit the most popular attractions of the Lower Garda area, all within a 20 km radius of the structure and entirely connected by a network of cycle paths that start directly from Volta Mantovana ( Eurovelo7 ).

A beautiful cycle/pedestrian path, the Eurovelo7, connects to the heart of Volta Mantovana, giving those who know how to seize the opportunity to visit the natural beauty of the Mincio Park , arriving in Peschiera del Garda , or to embark on a totally relaxing journey to the city of Mantua to admire it in all its splendor.

Excursions and Tours

In collaboration with local and neighboring businesses, tours have been created to showcase the cultural and landscape heritage of Palazzo Gonzaga and the hilly countryside traversed by the cycle and pedestrian path of the hills, as well as the Volta mills and the Mincio River.
On horseback, by bicycle, on quads, in vintage cars, by canoe, by walking or running, you can discover unspoiled views of Volta Mantovana in close contact with nature.
