Rosé Wines
The rosé wine from the Volta Mantovana area falls into the Garda Colli Mantovani DOC and Alto Mincio IGT categories, thanks to the vineyards cultivated on the morainic hills of Alto Mantovano, where the mild, breezy climate favors fresh, balanced, and fragrant wines.

Similarly, the area also produces rosé wines under the Alto Mincio IGT Rosato label, produced from a blend of red grapes vinified as a rosé. These wines have fruity notes and a distinct freshness, making them excellent served chilled with appetizers, fish dishes, or light meats.
In short, Volta Mantovana rosés are characterized by a bright pink color, fruity aromas, and freshness on the palate, making them versatile summer wines suitable for many food pairings.

Garda Colli Mantovani DOC Rosato – often also referred to as Chiaretto – is made primarily from Merlot, Rondinella, and Cabernet Sauvignon; it has a bright pink color, while the nose reveals delicate, fruity aromas, with a fresh and harmonious profile. On the palate, it is dry, gentle, and pleasant, with a slight softness and typical hints of almond and red berries.
